Safen supports the customer throughout the process from raising awareness in the company up to monitoring services based on machine learning algorithms. These latter allow the customer achieve full control of its energy carriers, so as to get analyses that create value within Corporate Social Responsibility reports.
The POCs include the installation of Safen’s patented innovative technologies that generate economic and CO2 savings.
4.0 Monitoring system is equipped with autonomous algorithms to identify leaks, report consumption, perform partial network shutdowns, and control air pressure and humidity. All the above is managed by a Cloud or an on premise platform.
The system consists of two different types of fluid-mechatronic hardware to be installed at the defined monitoring points: eflow-boxes for machine monitoring and control-boxes for monitoring network junctions. Communication is performed via Modbus RTU, LAN and Wi-Fi protocols. By doing so, it is possible to check in real time the achieved values and foreseeable savings to be communicated in CSR reports.

BlowAir is a blowing system designed and manufactured to clean and dry industrial products and semi-finished products. In the industrial setting, compressed air (a highly energy-demanding vector) and improperly sized commercial nozzles are often used for these activities with a significant energy consumption. On the contrary, BlowAir makes use of turbine technology that generates a considerable flow of air at low pressure and specifically sized nozzles so as to yield the highest possible efficiency. As compared to the use of compressed air, these systems offer energy savings of up to 90%. The systems are equipped with an interface for the connection to the CM Smart and are 4.0 systems.
4.0 systems for vacuum production, storage and transport resulting in savings of up to 95%.
Pick&Save is a Smart vacuum creation solution with savings of up to 95% of the cost related to compressed air for applications requiring handling with suction cups and vacuum which is created by means of ejector/venturi pumps. Pick&Save systems produce vacuum locally by employing mechanical pumps instead of compressed air for vacuum generation. The systems are equipped with an interface for the connection to the CM Smart and are 4.0 systems.
Turns pneumatic actuators (cylinders) into 4.0 devices. It detects leaks and reduces consumption by up to 60% on average with patented ‘energy quantum’ technology.
The system consists of a Control Unit that connects to Power Block Units. These latter are directly installed upstream of the cylinder chambers. CY4.0 is a system designed to monitor and optimize the filling of pneumatic cylinder chambers through a patented ‘energy quantum’ technology. It enables a reduction of compressed air consumption between 40% and 80%, without altering the actuator functionality. The systems are equipped with an interface for the connection to the CM Smart and are 4.0 systems.
Stand-alone or in-line system to perform drop pressure tests. This is faster and more accurate than the competitors’ solutions on the market. It is designed for pressure and vacuum testing. Microleak is a pneumatic conductance measurement-based tool that checks the tightness and/or quantify the leakage of devices used in severa industries: pneumatics, automotive, biomedical, food. Microleak drastically reduces leakage test cycle time. It is set-up to work stand-alone or to interface with line PLCs for automated testing. These solutions are equipped with an interface for connection to CM Smart and are 4.0 systems.
